Mishcon de Reya completes fundraising for PKR.com

Mishcon de Reya completed fundraising for client PKR.com, the on-line poker website based in Alderney.  The investment valued the business at approximately £19 million post money on a fully diluted basis.

PKR.com, which the Firm has acted for since its inception, is the brainchild of computer games guru Jez San OBE; who united the best technical brains in the computer gaming industry to create what is feted as the most advanced on-line poker site today.

PKR does not accept US residents as real money players.

Senior Assistant, Clare Adams, as part of the Firm's well respected Betting and Gaming department, advised the company on all regulatory issues in addition to liaising and assisting in obtaining the company's gaming licence in Alderney.

Corporate Partner, Larry Nathan assisted by corporate assistant, Andrew Savile advised the company on all corporate aspects of the fundraising.

McDermott Will & Emery and Ashursts represented the investors.
