October 2006: Mishcon de Reya advises Frogmore Real Estate Partners on acquisition of Westel House, Ealing

Mishcon de Reya, on behalf of Frogmore Real Estate Partners, has exchanged contracts for the purchase for refurbishment and part redevelopment of Westel House 32/38 Uxbridge Road Ealing London W5. Completion is due to take place in late 2007. This is one of a string of acquisitions by Frogmore Real Estate Partners.
The approximate 1.27 acre site which was sold by the occupiers, Thames Valley University, comprises a 15 storey office building designed by Richard Seifert and car park at the rear.
The Mishcon de Reya team was led by Property Partner Ronald Hooberman assisted by Karen Milne.
Frogmore has recently reinvented itself as a property fund manager with the creation of a £1bn opportunity fund to invest in UK property. Westel House is the fourth purchase by Frogmore Real Estate Partners' £1bn fund since the fund closed at the end of May 2006.
