Mishcon de Reya acts for Matterhorn Capital in its £50.5m acquisition of Cornwall Terrace Regents Park

Mishcon de Reya has today completed the £50.5million acquisition of British Land's London headquarters at Cornwall Terrace, Regents Park on behalf of Matterhorn Capital.  Co-founded in 2005 by Anthony Lyons and Simon Conway, majority shareholders in the Earls Court and Olympia Group, Matterhorn Capital is seeking to become more active in the high end residential property sector and intends to invest a further £35million to convert the buildings into exclusive luxury private homes. 

Mishcon de Reya's team for the acquisition of Cornwall Terrace by a put and call option was led by Property Partner Nick Doffman assisted by Nicola Bishop and Property Finance Partner Matthew Lindsay.

Nick Doffman said: "We have been regularly acting for Matterhorn Capital on the acquisition and sale of commercial property portfolios and we are delighted to be working with them on their move into the residential development sector".
