Mishcon de Reya acted for Teather & Greenwood Limited (Nomad and broker) on the £5.25 million placing on behalf of Telephonetics plc, the AIM listed UK-based advanced speech recognition ('ASR') and computer telephony group.
The placing proceeds will partly fund the cash element of the company's £11.9 million acquisition of Voice Integrated Products Limited, a privately owned ASR and computer telephony company.
The placing and acquisition are conditional upon shareholder approval at an EGM to be held on 3 July 2006. If approved, dealings are expected to commence on 4 July 2006.
