Is there life after death for charity legacies?
The Mishcon de Reya Charity Group invites you to a Charity Forum with Mark Herbert QC, 5 Stone Buildings
The forum will examine the impact of Ilott v Mitson and other recent case law on charity legacy giving. In particular it will look at the tension between freedom of choice when making a Will and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975/the doctrine of proprietary estoppel. How will this tension affect public attitudes towards charity legacy giving and how can this be managed? This lively discussion will be followed by a drinks reception.

Where: Summit House, 12 Red Lion Square, London, WC1R 4QD
