Market
The Bank of Scotland’s labour barometer has shown the fastest rise in the rate of jobs growth in the country since August 2007 during March 2010, with the number of positions being filled higher than the number of people registering with recruitment agencies.

According to Astbury Marsden, a financial recruitment specialist, the number of job vacancies in the City more than doubled in the first quarter of this year compared to the same quarter last year, with the number of vacancies increasing by more than 120%.
