Tenants find 1954 act tough
Daniel Levy, partner at law firm Mishcon de Reya, says he thinks the act is stable because the biggest points have been litigated over for more than 50 years.
“From my perspective, it works really well,” he says.
But he adds there could be tweaks, including changes that would override the rights tenants gain in cases where a legal adviser has made a mistake.
