It's never too late!
Unfortunately charities are not immune to litigation. In addition to the obvious disputes a charity may face, such as a challenge following a donation left in a will, charities can also face the same issues you would expect to arise at any company; from employment matters and contractual disputes to negligence actions and intellectual property infringements. A charity must balance the need to bring proceedings in worthwhile cases while running the risk of misperception that they are wasting donations on costly legal fees.
