James Wilcox has over 25 years' experience advising high net worth individuals and Family Offices regarding their personal, corporate and investment affairs. His clients include European Family offices, asset managers and entrepreneurs.
Since 1999 his practice has encompassed a wide range of investment funds including hedge, property and more complex speciality funds. He has listed a number of hedge funds on the Irish Stock Exchange and frequently advises clients regarding the structure and formation of hedge funds and property funds.
From 1988 to 1999, he acted for various European Family Offices working in England, Switzerland and Germany - focusing on their investments, asset protection and the purchase and disposal of businesses.
Key Experience and Clients
James recently advised a German Group regarding the structure and formation of a German Real Estate Fund, and assisting its management team regarding the implementation including Shareholders agreement, investment management agreement and private placement memorandum.
James is a non-executive director of Arkios Limited and an executive director of London Listings and Corporate Finance Limited - both of which are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in the UK. He regularly assists clients regarding their fundraising and private placement, especially first time funds.
