Kevin McCarthy is Head of the Firm's Private Equity Group and specialises in private equity related transactions, including acting for both management and equity finance providers. Kevin also advises on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions including IPOs, equity issues and joint ventures for both private and public companies.
Kevin has acted on transactions across a wide range of sectors, including life sciences and pharmaceuticals, media, real estate, sport, telecoms, retail and financial services.

- Advised Quotient Bioscience Group Limited on its £35 million fundraising from US private equity house TA Associates Inc.
- Advised the management team of Austin Reed Group following the £49 million takeover by Darius Capital Limited.
- Advised ACP Capital (Cyprus) Limited on its €33 million investment in Leasecom Group SAS.
- Advised the exiting management of Advanced Power AG in connection with 3i Group plc's investment in the company.
- Advised the management team, backed by Credit Suisse, on the management buy-in of Park Finance Holdings Limited.
- Advised ACP Capital Limited on its £50 million AIM Listing.
- Advised McLellan Group plc on its £120 million recommended takeover by Interserve plc.
- Advised ACP Mezzanine Limited on its €100 million dual listing on AIM and the Channel Islands Stock Exchange.
- Advised Fidelity Investments International in relation to general corporate matters.
